Two world premieres took the built environment and criticism as their subjects, respectively: Airport BLVD, a film from Alejandro Hendricks that explores the impacts of gentrification in Austin; and House of Criticism, an intimate documentary that takes us into married art–writer couple Jerry Saltz and Roberta Smith’s domestic life, unraveling how they live, work, and love.
